Student Stories: Anne Graham

Anne

Anne has been a class superstar for over 8 years now! A long term fan of all things jewellery, born of years and years of collecting contemporary jewellery. She grasped the opportunity to make her own jewellery and was bitten by the making bug!

Anne is a Professor of Biochemistry and the Head of School of Chemistry and Biosciences at Bradford University, when she's not making jewellery with us. A fellow Scot, originally from Glasgow, her class is respite from a very intense, high pressure job, she often flies in needing to take a moment to come down from the stresses of her day, and after a cup of tea and some metal therapy, she leaves us with a smile on her face.

The benefits of taking time out to relax and do something totally different are clear to see for many of our students.

Like Anne, many of our students come along with no jewellery making experience, but with a notion to try something creative, something different from their day job, something fun. Creating something with your own hands fosters a sense of accomplishment and self-expression.

Giving you the opportunity to step away from the stresses of daily life, and spend time with like-minded individuals. We help you explore your creativity & relax in a supportive environment where you can enjoy learning something new.

Did you know jewellery making as a hobby can help reduce stress and promotes a positive emotional state. An excellent form of self-care. Time for you to shine.
