Oxidised (Blackened) Silver, Oval studs, sewn with Gold thread by Sara Bukumunhe

Distinctive, black, oval earrings with a gold line sewn through them.

These sterling silver oval earrings have treated to make them turn black creating a dark, shiny, textured finish, with the gold accent of a gold thread sewn right through the metal. 

This Sewn-Up range is inspired by Sara's seaside holiday hobby of collecting pebbles, her favourites are ones with a line of white quartz running through them. She wanted to recreate these in a more wearable form. She has embossed pebble shaped discs of silver with a subtle texture and for contrast, added a shot of colour using bright bold embroidery threads.
