Small Oxidised Silver Oval Necklace sewn with Gold thread by Sara Bukumunhe

This dark sterling silver necklace has a hint of gold running through it, a luscious mix of colour and texture.

This silver oval necklace has been beautifully textured, oxidised and gently polished to give a dark and shiny finish. Metallic gold thread is sewn through the silver, contrasting with the black created with the oxidation process.

This Sewn-Up range is inspired by Sara's seaside holiday hobby of collecting pebbles, her favourites are ones with a line of white quartz running through them. She wanted to recreate these in a more wearable form. She has embossed pebble shaped discs of silver with a subtle texture and for contrast, added a shot of colour using bright bold embroidery threads.

The chain can be worn as 16 or 18 inch.
