A creative class for anyone who wants to learn jewellery skills in Yorkshire.

Join a welcoming class where you can make beautiful things, learn new skills, have a good laugh, and most importantly—have fun! Absolute beginners welcome!

Materials Cost

• A simple silver ring costs around £10 in materials

• A bangle is about £25

• Over a term, most students complete on average two pieces, depending on complexity and design

You’re welcome to work in copper, keep things simple to stay on budget—or go bold with large statement pieces. Materials are available to buy directly from us.

What You'll Make

You'll work primarily with silver to create unique pieces of jewellery using traditional techniques. Silver and copper are our go-to materials. Most of what we make is jewellery, but students have also created window decorations and napkin rings!

All Skill Levels Welcome

Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned maker, our classes are designed to support your journey.

Beginners will learn the fundamentals—cutting, texturing, and soldering. We usually start with a simple ring or bangle. 

More experienced makers can either follow more advanced guided projects or set their own goals. We're here to help you design and create your own pieces—even a collection for sale, if that’s your aim. If there’s a particular technique you’d like to learn, let’s talk—some specialist methods may need one-to-one instruction.

Our Workshop

Our well-equipped traditional jewellery studio includes a wide range of machines and hand tools. We’re set up to teach most basic and many specialist skills in a supportive and creative environment.
